1. What types of vehicles do you accept?
We accept most cars, trucks, and SUVs, in running or non-running condition. If you’re unsure about your vehicle, contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist.
2. Does my car need to be in working condition?
No! We accept vehicles in all conditions, whether they run or not. But, your car needs to be all complete, which means that there can not be any missing parts such as an engine, transmission, and so on.
3. Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! PNW Cars for Pets is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning your donation may be eligible for a tax deduction. We provide you with a receipt for your records.
4. How does the donation process work?
- Fill out our online donation form or call us.
- We schedule a free pickup at your convenience.
- You receive a tax-deductible receipt.
5. Do I need to provide a title for my car?
Yes. You will need to be a legal owner and you need to provide us a Title or An affidavit in lieu of title.
6. How long does it take to pick up my car?
We typically arrange pickup the same day. If that does not work for you, we can schedule an appointment that works the best for you.
7. What happens to my donated vehicle?
Depending on the condition, we may sell it, or a vehicle will be recycled.
8. Can I donate a vehicle on behalf of someone else?
Yes! If you have legal authority over the vehicle, you can donate it in honor or memory of someone.
9. Will you pick up my car for free?
Yes. We will send an insured local towing company and we will cover all the fees.
